The two trees in the Garden of Eden

God planted two trees in the Garden of Eden: the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The latter grants man his true identity (Godliness), while the former bestows eternal life. Contrary to common belief, the purpose of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is not merely to distinguish between good and evil acts. Consumption from this tree imbues one with the image and likeness of God. The fruits of these trees were meant to be consumed only in accordance with God’s will and timing. Adam erred by partaking of it at his own discretion. Following this consumption, Adam attained the image and likeness of God, as stated in Genesis 3:22:

And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.”

Many born-again Christians deviate from the intended path set by God because they lack belief in the anointed men of God sent to guide them according to His will.

God planted these trees to enable humanity to embody His identity and immortality on earth.

After Adam's transgression, God prevented him from eating from the tree of life, preventing him from achieving eternal life as a fallen being separate from God. If Adam had consumed from the tree of life, he would have been irreversibly severed from God, impeding God's establishment of His kingdom in the world and leaving no hope of salvation for mankind.

Genesis 3:22 emphasizes this point:

And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Following Adam's sin, God expelled him from the Garden and stationed one of His mightiest angels, a cherub, to guard its entrance (Genesis 3:24), preventing access to the tree of life. Thousands of years later, these two trees were spiritually reintroduced to humanity through Jesus Christ. However, their accessibility is not as straightforward as it was in the Garden of Eden. Now, the sole means of consuming from these spiritual trees—attaining the fullness of God's identity and eternal life—is through Jesus Christ.

Upon accepting Jesus as our God and savior, these trees enter our spirit, enabling us to establish God's kingdom on earth as originally intended. To tap into the power of these trees and embody God's nature, we require the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We should make It is our life's mission to enter the Garden of Eden intended for us by God.
